Afghanistan TPS Act

Afghanistan TPS Act

5 years following the military withdrawal and collapse of the Afghanistan republic government, our community is still facing family separation and now, immigration enforcement, Travel Bans, and an onslaught of anti-immigrant policies.

The United States owes protection to tens of thousands of Afghans, including those who have been calling our communities home. With asylum and other immigration backlogs and endless policy changes, thousands of our Afghan friends and family have been left without immigration status. Congress has the power to act by passing legislation to offer Temporary Protected Status, which would prevent our Afghan community members from deportation while they work to access a more durable, permanent status here. Join us in calling on them to act now.
